Kennel Upgrade Continues . . .

Time Flies when you are having fun!

It has been a while since I posted and we have accomplished quite a lot!

We finished the steps up to the kennel from the garage.
No more slipping in the mud! YAY!!

Concrete floor was added to the front section (was just dirt before)

Curbs added between the dog runs. There will be no digging under to escape!!

Front wall going up. And windows, lots of windows

Looking good!
Now about that roof . . .

Gotta thank Richard and Ryan for doing all the high work and keeping Grandpa on the ground!!

House wrap on front wall and final concrete work done.

Sidewalks!!!

The grandkids will remember this summer as the summer of “…CRETE!” They were the heavy lifters of those 80 pound sacks of concrete. Without their help, this would not have been possible. At least not in the timeframe that they made it happen.

We started pouring the main slab in the building on August 13, 2022 and finished the concrete work on September 4, 2022. From leveling the area for the concrete by moving dirt and crushed rock to building the frames for the concrete to pouring and finishing the concrete. It was a lot of work. But well worth it.
